Try something new
If you are going through grief, there's a chance that you are not interested in trying anything, doesn't matter if it's new or old.
I understand.
But the reason I'm telling you this is because I've done it and it has worked, at least for me.
When you try something new, you need to concentrate on what you are doing, therefore shifting your focus from the grief.
This also helps create positive memories and positive feelings and gives your heart space to heal.
Depending on the thing you choose to try, it can also bring you a sense of joy and purpose.
Volunteering for a cause you've never volunteered before is a good example of this: your focus is in the volunteer work and you can experience the joy of having helped others.
