Remove objects that make you sad
Some would say that you need to move on and get used to seeing the everyday things that your loved one used or touched.
Yes sure, but not when your loved one left just two days ago.
In my case, I had very specific triggers with a lamp and a carpet that played a role in the last days leading to my loved one's death.
In spite of my best efforts, every time I saw that lamp or that carpet I felt my stomach churn and tears would start to form in my eyes.
What did I do? Get rid of both.
Getting rid of something doesn't necessarily mean throwing it out into the garbage. You can donate it or pass it on to someone who will make good use of it.
And if you can't or don't want to get rid of something, you could ask someone to keep it for you temporarily, until you feel emotionally strong enough to have it back home again.
The important thing is: don't force yourself to anything you don't want to. In this case, don't force yourself to see everyday things that will only bring you pain. You are probably already in enough pain as it is, no need for more.
