Identify your triggers
I have previously talked about objects around the house that may trigger you. Those have a relatively easy solution: you can just remove them.
But what about things you can't remove from your everyday life? Like the sunrise, or spring, or snow, or the supermarket?
For me an everyday trigger that I hated were taxis, because I rode countless of taxis to and from the hospital.
For those triggers I have a piece of advice:
Create other memories "over" the trigger. In my case I took a taxi ride as soon as I could. It did help but I could tell one time wasn't enough to overwrite the memory. I took more taxi rides and little by little the triggering feeling disappeared.
You too, perhaps will need to create many new memories over the trigger so that it loses its power.
Keep trying and don't give up.
